This DME® Thermocouple Cable 12-Zone is easily distinguished from heater cables and the heater connectors on the controllers because they are female whereas the heater cable connector going into the controller is male. The 24-pin female mold-side connector is also an improvement over the 25-pin alternative being used on the heater cables.
Please note that the 25-pin female that is being plugged into the controller can be prone to pushed back pins and the male mating pins can easily be bent or pushed back. We encourage a through examination of these connectors before turning on the hot runner controller.
