We offer hot runner controllers on a trial basis for up to 30 days in two scenarios.

Scenario 1: You’re ready to order a specific hot runner controller. In this case, we will quote that specification for you to place a Purchase Order with the following trial terms:

Spark Industries will pay the freight to your destination. If the unit is accepted, that freight charge will be added to the invoice. If the unit is returned, that freight charge will be the responsibility of Spark Industries.

You’re responsible for accepting or returning the unit within 30 days. If you return the unit, you will be responsible for the return freight charge. You agree to cover the cost of any repairs necessary to ensure the unit is in as-new condition.

Scenario 2: You’re doing a head-to-head comparison of our controller to another controller in order to establish a new standard for your company. We anticipate that you will use the controller for up to 30 days in order to document energy savings, ease-of-use comparisons, injection molding machine integration tests, etc. The Explainer Video on this page will serve as a guide for comparing our value over other controllers. We will pay the freight to your facility. You will pay the return freight to Spark Industries.

  • We install a Power Analyzer to collect data on two-second intervals on all three phases. This should be used on each controller being compared under identical conditions (ramp-up, run-time, process temps, etc).
