Recently formed Spark Industries has acquired Fast Heat’s current product line. Founded by former Fast Heat GM Chad Root and Operations Manager Manny Diaz, Root and Diaz are leveraging their extensive experience in the industry. There is an obvious opportunity to advance the technology of the Hot Runner Controllers, and tackling that challenge was first on the agenda. Their deep understanding of their client’s needs gives them a distinct advantage. Spark is committed to continuously improving the current line and creating new and innovative products in the future. Spark Industries is poised to be a game-changer.
Support from the Industry
“We have a lot of support from customers, reps, and dealers. They expect us to improve service and support along with product development, which is exactly what we are doing. One group that we hope to provide extra support to is the moldmaking community. When Fast Heat sold hot runner systems and sprue bushings, we spent a lot of time with mold makers. We hope to become a valuable resource to them again,” says Root and Diaz.
Spark Industries is hitting the ground running with its first major project. First, an upgrade to the Pulse Hot Runner Controller HMI to cover 2-180 zones. The upgrade will benefit I/O integration, VNC viewer control, and the standard technologies such as Bake-Out, EvenSoak, Zone-Grouping/Mgt, Slaving, Recipe Storage, Constant Tuning PID Algorithm, and Active Thermocouple Protection within an industrial-grade platform.
What To Expect
Spark’s product line includes the ION and Pulse Hot Runner Temperature Controllers, MoldXChecker, CableXChecker, SmartMold, Cables, Service, and Repairs. Additionally, all patents, intellectual property, inventory, customer and vendor lists, backlog, and rights to use the Fast Heat brand on products is included.
All open orders will continue to be processed, and current dealer agreements will be maintained. All existing Fast Heat customers are encouraged to contact Chad and Manny directly via fastheat.com or call 574-606-4243 for service and support.
